The Chocolate Haus - La Jolla

We had heard that this was a wonderful stop for a treat. It was rainy and we were cold and wet but decided we would brave the cold and get their ice cream. It was amazing!! So sweet and creamy!!! We had 12 in our group and tried most of the flavors. Everyone loved their choice. I also tried a dark chocolate turtle and it was delicious. If you are in the area, it is so worth a stop!!

This review focuses solely on the ice cream. While the flavors are delightful, the texture is hard, icy, and lacks creaminess. The ice cream seems as if it has been frozen for an extended period at extremely low temperatures. The confections appear beautiful, but I can't rate them since we didn't sample any. The young woman who assisted us was delightful.

This restaurant offers a great selection of chocolates. I inquired about the ingredients, and they provided me with a concise list that doesn’t include hydrogenated oils, sea salt, or corn syrup. I selected several chocolates—8 for $20. While it is a bit on the pricey side, the cost increases significantly with larger quantities. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional!

I usually stick to Sees, but not anymore. I've discovered what true quality really is. I received chocolates from this place as a Christmas gift, and I've never tasted anything better in my life. Just one chocolate here is so satisfying that I typically eat four from other brands. I'm genuinely impressed!
