Sette Otto Pesca Barretta

My husband and I were so excited to find a cozy, relaxed restaurant that served fresh fish something much different than the other fancier restaurants in the island. We entered and were told there was no menu YET, but the owner could provide a...few dishes. As we weren’t starving, we chose the antipasto for one and the fritto misto for one along with two small beers and a bottle of water....the food was good, but when we asked for the bill, the owner acted like he was doing us a favor and said, ‘I’ll just charge you 65€.’ At the absolute most, our meal was worth 40€. Lesson learned the hard way....never order without knowing the prices and we will not be returning.

When we got in the restaurant we were told there was no actual menu. We were told some dishes. We chose the fried fish dish. We got fried calamari, fried shrimps and 1 fried big shrimp with Dome bread. While we were eating the owner...was in front of his restaurant clearly having an argument with someone over the phone just outside we're everybody could see and so could we from our table. Except for the mediocre dood and bad vibe because of him fighting over his smartphone, we had to pay 20€ each and 12€ for a smalle bottle of wine, with service this cost us 56€... The only thing possitive about this is the lesson we learned, never order without asking the price in advance. But even than i would advise everybody to stay away from this place!

Il servizio era molto cortese e la posizione del ristorante era bellissima. Abbiamo ordinato il crudo, le cozze e il polpo, e il fritto, tutto era ottimo. Peccato solo che non avessimo il primo piatto (tranne il francese). L'unico difetto era il prezzo del mirto, 4 euro ciascuno, davvero troppo alto, il resto era giusto considerando che si trattava di pesce fresco.

Grande tutto, ottimi piatti, bella presentazione, posizione unica.
