Feedback gevenWhy should I, as the consumer, bear this cost when it’s typically the restaurant's responsibility? Normally, I would suggest that restaurants increase their prices to cover such fees, but after comparing their recent menu with the one I received the other night, it seems they’ve already raised their prices. So, not only have they increased prices, but they've also added a 4% credit card fee on top. Because of this, my potential rating of 4 or 5 stars dropped to just 2 stars, and I won’t be returning. I do want to clarify that my server was great, and I don’t hold her responsible. My frustration is directed at the owners, likely Steve Bahari, Samer Basim Alqas, and Mark Alqes Hanna. Because they chose to pass the 4% fee onto me, I decided to reflect that in my tip by reducing it by the same percentage. I do feel a bit guilty about it, but hopefully this will send a message to the establishment to reconsider this charge. Ultimately, they might attract more repeat customers and retain quality staff by removing such unnecessary fees.
We’ve dined here multiple times, and each time has been excellent. This place is truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I really appreciate the great atmosphere inside. I decided to write a review because I found myself searching online for a copycat recipe for their tomato spaghetti sauce—it's honestly the best I've ever tasted! We also shared the heirloom tomato burrata, and it was outstanding. Even in November, the locally-sourced tomatoes were bursting with flavor. On our next visit, I’m definitely having the same meal again! Plus, they earn extra points for offering blue cheese stuffed olives in their martinis.
This has to be the ultimate dining experience, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I was thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered. Our appetizers included the kale Caesar salad and the little gem salad, both of which were fantastic, especially the oysters—they truly lived up to their name. For the main course, we enjoyed the seafood pasta and the Branzino, which is my favorite dish on the menu. It was roasted to perfection with a delightful blend of herbs and seasonings, and the lemon honey butter for dipping was divine. The fingerling potatoes were simply exquisite! I can only say great things about this place and will definitely be a loyal customer for life!
Went out to dinner with my family last night and we had such an incredible experience at Oyster and Pearl. Attentive and pleasant service. I ordered the Salmon dish with farro and I?ve got to say it was very flavorful and fresh. We also ordered thecalamari and oysters as appetizers and we were delighted with both platters. Highly recommend this restaurant. Big thanks to thefriendly staff and Chef for high class service and exquisite food.
Happy hour is on point! Service is even better! We had an assortment ot options including cocktails and they did not disappoint. We will certainly be going back as we saw items coming out to other tables and we 're like we have to try that!
