Chinese Deli Fast Food - La Mirada

As soon as I walked in, I could see that everything was very clean. The food was genuinely delicious. The woman who assisted me with my order was very friendly. I will definitely come back!

Everything was fine except for the terrible staff and the overcharging. I grabbed a Coke from the refrigerator and placed it on the counter right in front of the cashier, who later insisted she hadn't charged me. However, I received a receipt showing I was charged for two Cokes. On another occasion, I was charged for three egg rolls when I only ordered two. The customer service was poor, and the attitudes of the staff were unacceptable. They urgently need to be replaced.

I heard about this restaurant from a friend and thought it might be a more affordable option than New China (which is unbeatable on Leffingwell and First). However, I quickly realized that freshness really makes a difference. The use of MSG wasn't overwhelming, but the noodles were bland, as was the rice. We tried the orange chicken (which was overly breaded), the jalapeño chicken (the highlight of our meal with a nice spicy kick), teriyaki (huge portions of meat, but they should have cut it thinner), and mushroom chicken (which had too little chicken and too much zucchini). Overall, the food was decent for the price, and the portion sizes were generous (we had enough leftovers for dinner today), but it really lacked that fresh flavor and seasoning. I probably won't come back, but at least it saved me some money and gave me leftovers.

TERRIBLE PLACE. Very expensive and VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The woman that took my order had a very bad ATTITUDE. I ordered shrimp but was only given 2 shrimps and a pile of onion. I ordered 3 eggs rolls and was charged for 3 but was only given 2. THEY CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR EVERYTHING, AND THE TRUTH IS ITS NOT GOOD. I would definitely NEVER RETURN TO THAT PLACE. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed down soon. OWNERS should pay more attention to their employees!
