Our group of six (four adults, two children) stayed here for lunch as plan b, as our first selection was fully booked. I had low expectations at the beginning, but I didn't think it was so bad. in comparison to the competition 1min...drive away (see tipp at the end) the prices are higher, the selection is less, but more important is the quality of food is far below what they should accept. the starters were simple and uninteresting, 12 garlic/Pasley cheeky. some dry and funny tasting also by the heavy garlic oil disguise. the children and pommes were the same. fries were however ok, burgers were dry without any kind of spice or vegetables/salad/dress. steak for the main course was almost invincible, they could not even get the forks to penetrate the steak! even the ice cream for dessert was the cheapest they could find! all in all a total disappointment, they stand on this place. I can imagine they had better days, its large inside area and beautiful environment. But now they have all lost to supply qualitatiw high quality food, no inspiration it seems, and I would be surprised if they could say on heart hand that they were proud of their own food. now for our plan a, the location 1 minute car ride away: domaine de la maurette. highly recommended!
We knew this restaurant would be good, even if we were in the parking lot! it looked lovely, all brightened and very busy. the service was excellent and there was no single mistake with eating. great for children as there is a large garden where they can play. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and would like to go back.
Visited this restaurant in august 2011 with my wife and daughter. Did arrive early and was amazed how fast people arrived and filled the outside terrace till the last chair. Service was professional and the food was delicious. Great ambiance and worthwile to visit.
We visited Les Pignatelles on a rainy sunday afternoon and had a table on the covered terrace. We did not choose from the card but two of the specials of the day, written down on a board. The pigeonneau en croute and the ravioli avec...foie gras were realy very good and from haut cuisine quality. The wine and coffee were also very good, however the prices at the winelist could be a little bit lower. We certainly come back for lunch on a midweek day to try the plat du jour .
