Casco Viejo - La Oliva

Food good but the only one waiter working let the side down as ignored us once given menu, just about to walk out and he came over. Lovely food but again once finished ignored to a point we were not offered dessert or coffee etc. So we got up and paid at bar and said how bad service was. Paid left!

We visited in October with family, what a disappointment, service terrible food terrible never again.

This has always been our favourite restaraunt for the last 9 years. Always ate there 2 or 3 times every visit. This time we were sad that it has gobe downhill. The service was slow and our waiter I think was new so he can maybe be forgiven. The starter was ok but my garlic mushrooms were very sad looking and didnt taste too goo. We ordered vegetable paella and it took much much longer than the 25 minutes stated to arrive. When it did it was all rice and hardly any veg.. The taste was ok but it wasnt restaraunt quality. We were going to order dessert but I didnt feel the service and good justified it. For the first time ever we didnt leave a tip. Not sure whats happened with this place but unless it changes we wont be back

We come to Corralejo often but this was our first visit to Casio Viejo and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is has a great menu but we had our minds set on the Tapas menu and it didn’t disappoint. Great selection to choose from and the food was beautiful. The staff were friendly and made made us feel very welcome, I look forward to returning before we go home.

After wondering around Corralejo for a while. We decided to give Casco Viejo a chance, thankfully. We had tapas and sangria, the food was lovely. The sangria was great(not the watery type We would definitely recommend Casco Viejo to anyone.
