Bar & Grill El Mezquite Verde - La Paz

Previous reviews mention pizza, perhaps the place has changed its own. it was clearly mexican and amazingly good. my wife had an amazing chili relleno, I had a big enchilada, with cameer and salsa verde. we loved it, great service, friendly, great eating. the best we had in baja. the best flan ever. Look at it. I have heard that the breakfast is also good, it will check in the one. it is definitiw for breakfast and coffee and tee in the open, despite what trip advisor has as hours.

We always love to have this restaurant open because the places in this opposite are few and far in between. eating is good and plentiful and the atmosphere is very beautiful. service is also sufficient and if you go here, they will not be disappointed for. the prices and their hunger satisfied.

We had the jerry pizza and it was delicious. very good quality ingredients and the atmosphere was great. we have heard about their bbq ribs, but they only have them at certain days, we cannot wait to go back to la paz to try them out.

Been here a few times. Food is good depending on what you have.Last time I ordered chicken wings and Tortilla soup.I thought tortilla soup was excellent and its not on the menu..Pizza is so so.. thin crust... if you like thin crust you will like this pizza.Personally I think the drinks are over priced... for example the margaritas were 90 pesos I believe for a small glass.... just down the road at the Marlin club you get one of those huge ones for 70 pesos.But gringos do not know... all they know peso is 20-1 so its cheap for them.When in reality for locals it isn't.But atmosphere is nice and staff are attentive... George behind the counter is great.We keep going back... just don't have margaritas is all :)Please leave me a helpful vote if you found this helpful

Mezquite was doing nice with specials of different varieties on different nights. Then Odile hit and it along with others struggled to get back.I can say now they have arrived with items on menus available and pizza just as good as ever.There are quite a few English speaking locals and Mexican locals as well.Jorge, evening barkeep, is very attentive and keeps things tidy. The decor is modern and covered outside tables are newly available.Whether local or traveling this is not fine dining but very good food with comfortable atmosphere.
