Currently known as 1700 this incredible place in the historic downtown of La Paz, near Calle Zagarnaga and Calle de las Brujas serves Bolivian fusion tariff on the second floor of what once was a Mason meeting room in the 1700's. The table service included a tasting of the handcrafted Bolivian gin and a variety of local Bolivian fruits. It's a must in La Paz.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. The way it was decorated was just great. The food was also amazing. A good selection of dishes. The servers only spoke little English, but we got what we wanted in the end, so no problem. It was also quite cheap compared to other restaurants in this area. Nice place to taste local Bolivian cuisine.
It's decent. the food did not surprise me very (not too much local cuisine).. the steaks are good and for a decent price. the environment is very interesting and comfortable!
Very nice atmosphere, soup was excellent. main dish was ok, but nothing special. Good Bolivian whine. Not the quickest service. No cards accepted.. overall a very pleasant evening
