Bistro On The Greens - La Porte

Our large group dined apres-golf. Everyone enjoyed the ambiance, overlooking the 18th hole. The restaurant is upscale with large paintings of jazz greats on the walls. The extensive menu is Cajun/Creoleand delicious! Waitstaff is very pleasant and efficient. The chef personally welcomed us and checked back to ascertain our opinions and feedback. Individual checks were no problem. A good time was had by all.

Very good! We had grilled salmon, balsamic chicken, and fried alligator as an appetizer.Highly recommend !

Service was horrible, sat for over a half hour before getting even a water. Then over looked from getting to order our food. We were over charged for our food and our bill certainly didn't match the prices on the menu. Food wasn't bad, steak over cooked and just kept apologizing, heard them offer a couple customers complimentary desserts and we were charged for ours....totally disappointed ?

My favorite restaurant in IN! The atmosphere, decor and music was wonderful. The artwork is big and fabulous of old jazz greats and if you appreciate the music from some of the greatest jazz musicians of the last 100 years, this is the place for you. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Portions were generous. The Gumbo was the best I have eaten. Others in our group had chicken, pork chops, shrimp and grits; and, we all loved our meals. The server was friendly, professional and attentive. The owner/chef introduced himself which was classy and smart. This restaurant is open Thu-Sun. I wish we had a restaurant like this in Maryland.Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options and healthy food choices.Parking: It is a restaurant on a golf course so there is plenty of parking and beautiful views.Wheelchair accessibility: One level and wide aisles

This is the place to go for a nice dinner the chef John Moultrie is outstanding. Marie the bartender is great too. the food is to die for will be back. this is a 10 Star
