The Mexican Express - La Puente

As I walked in it was very quiet, I was greeted by the owner, super polite. I ordered burrito de pollo mojado en salsa verde, chilaquiles and a quesadilla de asada. Made to order, didn't mind the wait (15 min). Got home and everything was very flavorful and delicious, only thing would be to please put more chicken on the burrito and less rice. Will be coming back.

I've been coming to this place since I was a little kid, and I can honestly say this is the best place to go when your craving some homemade Mexican food. The owner is a lovey person that greets you like a friend and you can tell that she puts lots of care and love into her food. The tortas are my absolute favorite and a great option for lunch. The gorditas are also great! There is also a special menu on the weekends. All the food is made fresh by the owner.

Delicious food made freshly, and everything is homemade. It has a really good atmosphere and it’s pretty clean. I would recommend this place. You should try the Menudo; it’s bomb!!

Ordered to large menudos, got home and served and was very DISAPOINTED , I'm like 13$ each and had no meat . It had a portion of a small size menudo it was all juice, NEVER again will I order from there.NEVER!!!!!!!

Mex Express is still open! You can place an order over the phone for pick up to still enjoy their Mexican food! All employees are wearing masks and doing their best to minimize contact with customers. Family owned and great place to support during this time!
