Melange Bar at the Chateau Lake La Quinta

Although we had a brunch reservation, we could have walked right in for a table with no delay--pretty rare for Sunday brunch! My shrimp and vegetable omelette was really excellent, probably the favorite of the 4 entrees in our group. Our waiter was nice about our request to move to an umbrella table for shade. We will go back!

Sunday for breakfast , only the two of us at first. Birthday treat. Patio is nicely heated, when the sun came out no umbrellas. My eggs Benedict was late and blah. Will not return, too many good breakfast places to eat.

We had a pleasant breakfast Saturday morning with low jazz music in the background adding to the ambiance. The vegetarian omelette was delicious with a nice variety of zucchini, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, spinach..... The staff was quick and polite. The coffee, top shelf.

We had a wonderful lunch on the patio overlooking the Lake. This is a hidden gem in La Quinta. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. We will be back.

Three woman on the patio for a birthday lunch. We had a great time. The food was great. The service from Brittany was great. Loved the French Chateau feel. And you can’t beat sitting next to the water in the middle of the desert. We will be back for happy hour and live music!
