Misaki Sushi Grill - La Quinta

The waiting time at this restaurant may be a bit long for some people. In my experience, we were told it would be a 45-minute wait but it ended up being closer to an hour and a half. The service quality was quite good, as servers checked on our table frequently. However, the portion sizes were a bit smaller compared to other similar restaurants. The food quality was good and the prices were on the higher end, but the portion sizes justified the cost. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying.

I can say a lot about Misaki, but what I will say is to go there. It was an amazing date spot in my opinion and I had a phenomenal time. The food is delicious and worth the price, with huge rolls that tasted fresh and flavorful. Compared to other sushi restaurants, Misaki gives you twice the amount of food for the same price. The service was lovely and welcoming, and I can't wait to go back soon.

In town from seattle (fair to assume we have a high bar for quality sushi). decided last minute to order Sushi for an early dinner. found Misaki via Tripadvisor and had no issue putting in a to go order as soon as they opened. let's just say that we should have bought 1/2 as much given the incredible size of the rolls! everything was literally twice as big as a regular sushi joint yet without sacrificing quality. highly recommend the crispy rice topped with spicy tuna it had the equivalent of 3 rolls worth of spicy tuna (really) and was $17! don't miss out on this place when you are in town we will be coming back at every visit to La Quinta/PS.
