Le Meleze - La thuile

La meleze is a very comfortable place to eat something on the slope. eating is simple and cheap. the staff is polite and friendly.

We had both snack lunches and really good pasta meal times etc. here in the last ski season. always good and generally not crumbled in comparison to many others.

The service is somewhat slow, but eating is good and plentiful. it was never so busy during our weeks. the toilet experience, especially for the ladies is something else!

We have eaten regularly in le mélèze over the years as it is not crumbled in the usually (not directly at a lift drop off) and are always satisfied. we called again this last week and were very satisfied again. Perhaps the bad reviews have an effect in the last six months? in any case, even before the order of ditches, we were given a good selection of salty snacks to go with our drinks as well as some very delicious brunette. the food is not exceptional and the prices are not as sharp as they could be, but nevertheless, the luxury to have space to relax in an uncured room rate very with us, and the service was certainly attentive. we would visit again.

There are so many good places to eat in La Thuile that you should give this one a miss. We had lasagna and it was cold and sloppy (they provide a microwave as the hot food isn’t). Wine is on draught, red or white, served...with plastic cups. Just try Any if the others restaurants up the mountain.
