Le Bistro Tante Marie - La Turballe

Ate here several times and found good quality well cooked food, well priced with good friendly service.

Both of us had the entrecôte - cooked correctly with lettuce and chips but expensive for what it was we thought. Nice Ile flottante for desert.

I visited this place with my friends and i have to say we loved it! The food was great and the people were very nice to us even though we didn't speak a lot of french. The location is amazing and the wine made it even better! I highly recommend everyone to try this wonderful restaurant!

This was my first time in France and I am so happy that I found Tante Marie. I ate here with some friends at least 7 times during my 2 week visit. Firstly the service was excellent, not only was the food served at a reasonable time, but the quality of the customer care was hands down the best I experienced during my trip (I ate at a lot of restaurants). Second, the food was great and the prices of the wine were extremely reasonable. I noticed that there were many locals eating at the restaurant each time I visited, which is probably a good sign. I highly recommend Tante Marie to anyone who likes quality food and service!

We enjoyed eating here so much that after trying an alternative restaurant we returned for three consecutive days.. The food is fresh, nicely prepared and excellent value.In particular we loved the Oysters,freshly grilled sardines and moules.The wine is realistically priced and the muscadet was lovely.Galettes were both sweet & savoury and very good value.We stopped at the restaurant because Jimmy offered our dog water & then kindly parked my husbands wheelchair...a really charming man who made sure we were able to order exactly what we wanted . He gave us time to eat & linger over the view of the marina..the facilities (loo,kitchen etc) are very clean.All of the staff were kind & courteous, Jimmy was a star. We really liked La Turballe, its a lively port & great beach...will definetely go back next year
