Donny's Brew Pub - La Vernia

The staff at Caparelli's are very friendly, and they have menus conveniently located by the entrance for ordering food, which is a nice touch. The atmosphere inside is a bit noisy, but it has a lively sports bar vibe. They serve good mixed drinks, and there are fun activities like darts, corn hole, and a golf game with sun loungers. They also offer outdoor seating. If they had a pool table, I would definitely visit more frequently, but as it is, I’m not overly inclined to return. However, their house pickle shot is quite nice!

This is my husband's and my favorite spot for Friday nights. We like to arrive early, enjoy some beers, have a delicious pickle, and then head next door for pizza. The bartenders, the owner, and the patrons are all fantastic. We always have a wonderful time and appreciate the selection of drinks and the ambiance. If you’re looking for a place with a great vibe, this is it. While there’s no smoking indoors, there is a designated area outside. I quit smoking in 2018 and am quite sensitive to it now, so I really appreciate having a bar in the city that is smoke-free inside, yet still accommodates smokers outside.

The manager and staff here are excellent, but the clientele tends to lean towards ex-convicts or individuals on that path. The atmosphere can be quite cliquish, and the establishment lives up to its name as a brewpub since there always seems to be some trouble brewing. If this is your only choice, I recommend bringing along ten friends, as you're likely to find yourself in a situation where, if a fight breaks out (and it has on two occasions I witnessed), you'll be up against the whole bar. For a more enjoyable and safer alternative nearby, check out the Den.

Strip mall dive bar extremely clicky. The clientele are seedy ex cons and future ones. The name brew pub suits it as there is always trouble brewing in this Place. Word to the wise if you go take ten friends because if a fight breaks out (and it will) you will be fighting everyone in the place ten or fifteen on one and that is no exageration.

A little pricey but the guy running the grill nailed a medium rare ribeye. The sides were great too.
