Great service, loved the modern take on Filipino food such as adobo and the puso on kare-kare. Crispy pata was yummy, as well as sisig and fish balls! We also enjoyed the tres leches as compared to dolce gatas ? which was quite bland if you it without the yema. Quite pricey but def a great Filipino resto esp when you want your foreigner friends visiting to try some local food.
Haven’t been here in a long time, but it’s still open so they must still be doing ok. Liked most of the food we had on the last time we came in. We enjoyed the Dulce Gatas so much that we got a second order. Didn’t enjoy the street food platter.
Partygoers of Manila will always remember the Embassy Superclub that arose in the early 2000’s. And its reputation has been widely known to everyone, even those who are not familiar with the scene as well as its possible reasons for closing. After a couple of years, the old site of Embassy has transformed into a Filipino restaurants in day time and a club at night. The second floor is turned into a sophisticated night lounge with the beats of chill house music. Aracama was able to work on making the structure and interior look simple yet catchy, as they both feature a modern design with simple yet striking embellishments. There were also a few hints of Filipino elements from the materials of the chairs to paintings on the wall, so somehow you 'll feel the Filipino ambiance within. I was invited before for my very first foodie meet up. But due to hectic sched, I wasn 't able to comply. So me and my friend went here some other time. We ordered their party size cocktail that is very popular. It is a huge ass cocktail good for sharing. We really did enjoyed the night with their awesome music! Their staff were attentive as well which is really a plus in a club!
Boodle fights are a military tradition that you ought to try with your family and friends. The mechanics are simple food is placed in a long table on top of banana leaves and your mission is to try to eat as much of it as you can using only your bare hands. Once the signal to start eating is given, everyone begins to battle it out.
I heard about Aracama somehow, probably by osmosis, either through reading food-related blogs or browsing foodies’ instagrams. But it’s not somewhere I imagined I would have an opportunity to dine at because clubs and live bands are not what we usually prefer. We like quiet dinners where we can talk, and talk, or savor each other’s quiet company.
