I live at the Golfe de la Wantzenau estate. I went with two friends without a reservation. We were seated at a table that was not set, right in the sun, at midday. For an hour, no one came to take our order. After an hour my French friend went to the bar to inform them of our presence, although it was clearly visible!! The waiter came to take the drink order, he said if we wanted to eat I said that we are thirsty waiting for an hour in the sun without hydrating ourselves. He brought us water and 4 worms (one too many) with the menu and the waiter did not come back to take the order!! We got up 45 minutes later, went to the bar, the waitress gave us a quick, contemptuous look without asking what we wanted. She took out the receipt to make us pay!! We paid! I informed the bartender that we waited 1 hour 45 minutes and we were ignored! He said it’s because you didn’t book!!! However, we were seated at a table, they could have told us we cannot accommodate you, we would have left!!! But no, we preferred to ignore us! It’s a shame, I’ve never seen that in the restaurant business. At the end, the bartender said “we apologize. See you soon ! »
