Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - Lacey

I ordered takeout through the app, getting the RR Gourmet Cheeseburger with bacon, the new Savory Steakhouse burger, and a tower of onion rings. I had a reward that let me save $10 on a $40 purchase, which meant I essentially got the onion rings for free! The food was ready when promised, but unfortunately, my burger was only lukewarm at best. Since the pandemic, we've been ordering to-go and eating in the parking lot around the corner, so I expected the food to be hot.

I wanted to update my review of this Red Robin. I visited on May 7, 2022, and it was a significantly better experience than our last visit during the pandemic. It’s fantastic to see the restaurant back to what we love. We arrived towards the end of the lunch rush, and although there were two large groups ahead of us, we requested to be seated in the bar area, which they accommodated right away. The bartender, Devon, was incredibly busy managing the entire restaurant, yet he was quick to attend to us. Our food arrived promptly and tasted just as we remembered. I'm so glad we can continue to enjoy our favorite fire sauce!

My mother had a craving for French Onion Soup, so we recalled that Red Robin serves it. She ordered a bowl and absolutely loved it. My wife opted for the Clucks and Fries, which she also enjoyed. I stuck with my favorite, the Royal Red Robin Burger, and it was just as satisfying as always. The service was excellent, and the food was consistent with what we've experienced at other Red Robins—of which we've visited plenty. I'm certain we'll come back again.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, engaging, and a delight to interact with. My burger was cooked exactly to my liking and was absolutely delicious. Devon (I hope I spelled that right) was a wonderful person to chat with and made me feel genuinely welcomed. This was my first time dining alone at a Red Robin, and I was pleasantly surprised by how inviting the atmosphere was—I didn’t feel awkward at all, which was my main concern. I might think about doing this more often when I’m craving their food and my friends can’t join me.
