Lubies Gourmandes - Lachute

We had a fantastic experience dining at this wonderful restaurant with tasty homemade dishes! The cozy atmosphere and delicious lunch surprised us. It felt like we were having a meal at someone's home in the best way possible. The table was set with nice tablecloths, charming plates, and a skilled chef providing excellent service.

Whenever we are in this region of Canada to visit friends, we make sure to dine at Lubies twice during our stay. This charming café offers delicious homemade dishes that are not only fantastic but also healthy.

I went to this restaurant with my daughter for lunch after her ice skating competition. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and fresh food. Although the menu is not extensive, the food was excellent and reasonably priced at $30 for the both of us. It's a charming and cozy spot that caters to those looking for healthy options.

I've always wanted to eat in this sweet café/bistro, but I've never had an occasion. When I saw that they offer a beautiful New Year brunch, my husband and I decided to break in 2017 with a hearty meal and...reservation. Brunch started with Mimosas, a warm, sugary grapefruit with cinnamon and a delicious cheese plate served with locally produced breads. The main course was fried eggs on an English muffin, microgreens, baked ham and covered with a slightly cheesy sauce. This was accompanied by potatoes fried in duck fat, local wild boar sausage, fruity broschetta and tomatoes with bocconcini. Dessert was served a strawberry shortcake with wonderful coffee. My husband and I were so glad to visit this special restaurant and meet the wonderful owner and their dedicated staff. This place is easy to love and you will love it too!

On the way to CAMMAC on Lake MacDonald, stopped in Lachute at this restaurant for lunch and pleasantly surprised by healthy and tasty selections and speedy service.
