Pho Bistro - Lackawanna

Amazing food and amazing service! They really care for their customers. My favourite Vietnamese/Thai restaurant in the area! The food comes out really quickly, barely any wait. Nice date place.

After spending more than enough time waiting in line to renew my drivers license in a nearby unit, it was time for lunch. There are several restaurants in this small plaza, and after looking at the choices we decided on Pho Bistro. Modern decor, clean lines, and the seating was not too crowded. <br/ <br/ The menu includes separate pages for Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai dishes. SWMBO chose the Beef Pad Thai, which was nicely presented. It was a full bowl of noodles and tender chunks of beef. A little bit of spice in the noodles, but not too much for our North American palettes. There are condiments on the table if someone wants to elevate the heat level. <br/ <br/ I chose the Vermicelli with Grilled Chicken and Spring Roll from the Vietnamese section of the menu. The dish was pleasant enough, but I guess I was expecting a bit more seasoning. There was a side dish with dipping sauce for the spring roll that was both sweet and a bit spicy. I dunked my chicken in the sauce to give it a little something. <br/ <br/ Nice enough meal. Fast and friendly service.

The service was good, nice and tidy place. The food was great, the portions are big. I had the grilled chicken and pork chops with fried egg, I couldn't finish it! Definitely worth a try!
