Service The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and made our meal so enjoyable as they were always there to serve us when needed. Food The menu was very well put together and something for everybody. We all ordered something different, I have to say all the food that arrived, was beautifully presented, and hard to pick, as we all had food, envy! Drinks There was a wide range of drinks on the menu for anybody wishing to have an alcoholic drink or something that is non alcoholic. We had a beautiful bottle of rosé wine that was from a local vineyard, it was lovely to see local businesses working together! Decor The decor of the restaurant and lounges is homely and inviting, suitable for a quick, get together, business meeting, birthday parties, or something a bit more formal. Prices Prices are very reasonable, especially when you take in consideration, the location and the service that we were lucky enough to receive. Lacock This small quaint village is the most beautiful destination to visit, it is somewhere that everybody should go to to see how beautiful are English country villages are, it is also very well located as it is so close to the city of Bath. I would highly recommend The Sign Of The Angel to anyone looking for a great meal with a venue and experience that you will not be disappointed with, I think next time we’ll end up staying in the hotel that is part of the restaurant and making an even longer trip out of it as we didn’t want to leave. Food drinks: The food was exquisite, with each dish presented like a work of art. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the textures were divine. The meal was truly a feast for the senses the wine from the local vineyard also helped add to the incredible flavours as well.
Absolutely marvellous, delicious food ,exceptionally friendly service and quaint atmosphere. Everything cooked to order so sometimes a little wait but we'll worth it Food drinks: First class Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
Few options vegan and gluten free and poor attitude to helping Seating uncomfortable Far from fine dining Service: 3 Location: 4
Can't add photos of this place but take my word for it the food was lovely little over priced for my liking but I did pay for 4 and they made the most of it starter main and desert Service: 4 Location: 4
The garden where we sat was pretty, a nice setting for Sunday lunch. Lunch was mediocre at best. We weren't offered any water for the table. And when we told staff the roast beef was pretty much inedible as it was so tough we were not even offered an apology, let alone any money off even though it was pretty clear we hadn't eaten most of it. I thought the staff could have been more considerate but barely seemed to care just said they'd tell the chefs! Food drinks: We went out for lunch and thought The Sign of The Angel looked like a decent place for lunch. The Sunday lunch menu sounded nice although a little pricey. As the pub also has 2 rosettes the expectation was high, however for £23 the roast strip loin of beef was very disappointing! The garnish was fine but the beef was so tough it was practically inedible. We both left most of the meat as we could not even cut through it with a knife. After this we decided not to order dessert as we were so disappointed with the lack of apology from the staff. They hardly seemed bothered by our complaint
