Original South China Sea - Lacombe

The food is good and reasonably priced. However, the chicken balls have a tough texture. They could be smaller and have less batter—perhaps a tempura batter instead of the heavier dough. The staff are lovely.

We ordered takeout, and the food was delicious. The service was great as well.

South China Sea is our go-to for Chinese takeout in Lacombe. The food is hot and fresh EVERY time, and we love that there is an option for delivery!

Huge portions on the Meals for 1. Enough for two meals each. Fresh and delicious. I wouldn’t get the fried shrimp again tho, all breading and little shrimp. My husband loved the lemon chicken. Fresh out of the fryer and served with the lemon sauce on the side so it stayed crispy.
