Feedback gevenA lesson in customer service is overdue with these dudes. Called and left a VM for a reaservation, got NO call back after doing so about noon one day. At 5:30PM, when they were open, I called back and tried to speak to a human being. Nope. Not possible. VoiceMail jail. Couldn't find a way to get to talk to someone live. No give a **** to take a call. Wasn't planning to drive all that way without being able to speak to someone in advance to be sure they HAD what was advertised. Sorry. Lost opportunity here. If no ones cares to talk to their clientele, they won't serve them well, either. Forget this place. Went to Six Burner Bistrol in PLymouth instead which NEVER disappoints! Faro, not good. This was 3rd chance for them YOU'RE OUT !!!
Thank you Faros for you cancelling our reservation on our anniversary! This was booked a week ago and you called the day before to tell us you would not accept a reservation due to bike week! You have lost a customer and perhaps need lessons in customer service!
We came to Weirs Beach for my birthday, both of us not familiar with the area. The owner of our hotel recommended we try this restaurant and being huge lovers of all things carbs and sauce, we made a reservation for Saturday night. We were promptly seated upon arrival. The atmosphere is casual- albeit more upscale than the other boardwalk area restaurants. We saw people dressed up for date night and we also saw people getting beer and pizza. We were offered complimentary Prosecco which was lovely! The service was a little slow but we were in no rush- our server did a great job and it was their first busy weekend of the season so it's to be expected. The bread at the beginning of the meal was excellent. I had the bolognese with handmade papardelle and my date had chicken piccata- both were well cooked and very flavorful. We wished we saved room for dessert! The bathroom is clean and had high quality paper towel napkins inside. Will definitely be back if ever in the area again!
NOPE! What sort of Italian restaurant is out of tomatoes on the Saturday night after Valentines? This place! How many of their menu offerings involve tomatoes? A LOT. No offerings that include tomatoes, after we were seated with nothing but menus for the better part of an hour (no water, utensils, etc. We 've been out of tomatoes all day. Go. To. The. Grocery. We were seated for 35 minutes before we saw any staff or were even offered water. Wicked long time to get our meals (1 hour for steak tips pasta with marina), ridiculously small portions that had clearly been sitting under heat lamps for at least a half an hour. Ordered a side of pasta (was supposed to be $7 and we were charged $21). The food wasn 't even mediocre and our absent server didn 't ever check back with us. I had to walk all of the way through the restaurant, wait to talk with the host then wait some more to have him return with utensils so we could eat our cold, meh, overpriced dismal meal. GO TO LAGO INSTEAD!
Had the most amazing meal the other night. Everything was phenomenal including waitstaff! Highly recommend!!
