The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the beer selection was a bit limited; it would be great to have a few more options beyond just dark and sour beers. The food was decent—the single pretzel was tasty and not overly salty, and I really enjoyed the jalapeño dip that came with it. The spinach salad with chicken was the highlight of the meal. The baked potato was a little too heavy on the cheese; I should have requested less. Overall, we had a nice visit.
While strolling through the area, my husband and I decided to stop by Front Range Brewing. It was a lovely Saturday afternoon, and the atmosphere was pleasantly calm, allowing us to savor a relaxing drink on the patio. Since none of the beers particularly caught my eye, I opted for something different and ordered the Moscow Weisse. What a distinctive beverage with a delightful taste! It was a tasty twist on the classic Moscow mule and incredibly refreshing for the 65-degree weather we enjoyed that day. Everything, from the ambiance to the friendly staff, was wonderful. I'd definitely love to return and sample more of their drinks!
This is a tough review to write. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. They had a decent selection of beers but not much variety in food. I ordered a brat slider served on a pretzel roll, but unfortunately, the roll lacked salt and didn’t have a crust either, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the brat was cooked perfectly and came with a nice mustard and homemade sauerkraut. However, there are simply too many other places nearby that offer better options, whether it’s food or beer. On a positive note, they’ve recently added live music in the evenings.
After a long band parent day four of us decided to relax for a bit. I enjoyed their Black Hawk black IPA. Well done! My husband tried the Prairie Fire Helles. Clear, clean and crisp! Their outdoor patio space is beautiful. The giant rock fountain is so peaceful. They had some live music, which made this the perfect place to be on a warm September evening. We chatted with Mitch, the brewer, about his creations. Great service and atmosphere. Dog friendly and Comet approved. When we sat down, they brought a bowl of water and a tiny cup with some pup treats. Check it out if you haven't already.
We were up north for a few hours and wanted to find a dog friendly brewery (with food) nearby and came across Front Range Brewing. It's towards the back of a cute little gathering space called The District in Lafayette. Tons of seating in an atrium area and some outdoor patio seating as well at the Brewery. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon, which was perfect because we had our pick of where to sit with the pup. Beers were delicious and the food was such a nice surprise! We ordered their Good Boy Wood Onion Dip which is diced onions braised in their Good Boy Wood Brown Ale with tangy cream cheese and delicious spices served with delish kettle cooked chips and/or veggies (get the chips, duh) and this was SO delicious! One of my fave guilty pleasure snacks is a tin can of french onion dip and potato chips and this is a classy and fantastic version of it. For our meals, the hubs got the Brat Plate which is a generous portion of 2 veal bratwurst, saurkraut, haus mustard, cracked potato (essentially a whole mashed potato), pickled onion, spicy cheese sauce, crumbled quork cheese, and a cute little warm pretzel. Not something he would typically ever get, he loved this! I ordered the Club Taco which is a plate of 2 naan shells filled with tender, grilled chicken, bacon, melted monty cheese, tomatoes, pickled onions, cucumber, mixed greens, quork cheese and a drizzle of their haus ranch. Served with more of their crispy kettle cooked chips, their take on tacos is amazing! We were so very impressed with this spot and the puppy was too! Service was fantastic for everyone in our party they even brought treats and a fresh dog bowl for our little guy as soon as we walked in. If I lived anywhere near the area, I would definitely be a regular here.
