Half Shell Oyster House - Lafayette

Great food! Me and my friend had an amazing date night last Saturday. Our service was spectacular, her name was Shacory and she made sure we enjoyed everything and had everything we needed. Seriously at one point i asked for a dipping sauce and she bought me 4 out to try. I love eating at Halfshell the food and service is always great.

Although the food and service was good. The FRONT HOSTEST is absolutely unwelcoming and rude. When I went in and requested a server she had rolled her eyes and her whole face changed. When I walk into a restaurant I expect to receive good service from the staff. If you don’t like your job find another one but don’t make the place look bad. And this is not a one time thing. She’s like this all the time.

Nice atmosphere. Waitress very helpful and friendly. Quiet hardly any customers around the time we went 330-4pm..I may need another visit to get the full feel of the place… Wasn't really feeling well (38 weeks preg) just finished with Dr visit… We went in to celebrate my moms' bday.

I visited the restaurant Saturday for a birthday gathering with a large party we were accommodated very well. Our hostess went above beyond to take care of my guests, she even stayed at the end of her shift to take us group pics. She was very professional, efficient swift with our orders. Everyone raved about their order the drinks were on point. Thank you for the great experience with the food, drinks, service vibes
