I appreciated the option to purchase individual slices of cake rather than a whole cake. The vanilla bean cheesecake was fantastic - creamy, delicious, and the crust had a wonderful flavor. The chocolate chip chocolate cake was also amazing; I couldn't get enough of it with each bite. The cake had a delicious icing and topping. I will definitely be back for more in the future.
I used to love this restaurant because the food was delicious, but the last four times I have been there the cakes have all tasted really stale. Everything is dry and not fresh at all. I'm not sure what has changed, but the quality is clearly bad and I'm not the only one who has noticed.
Indulge used to be my go-to spot for a treat, but recently, I have been consistently disappointed. The cakes taste like they have been frozen for a week and thawed out just before serving, resulting in a dry and bland experience. It feels like a waste of money. Despite giving them another chance after a few months, this last visit was definitely my final one. Additionally, I find it frustrating that I am always pressured to buy a whole cake for special occasions like my birthday or Mother's Day, costing over $100 for a small cake that I would have been happy to purchase separately. I will not be returning.
After eating a nice lunch with an old friend I suggested indulge for coffee and dessert. I am the type of person that only likes my coffee. Plain. I got the Fruit Tart, friend got the Pecan pie. A perfect finish to a girls day out!!
Cute place. Great cheesecake. And red velvet cake was awesome as well.
