Jolie's Louisiana Bistro - Lafayette

Jolie used to be one of our favorite brunch places. We're really sad to see it go. We'll miss her warm greetings and so many other delicious items on the menu!

What a fantastic place! It's a shame they've closed down. I really enjoyed my time there.

The server was very friendly and did an excellent job. However, the breakfast menu lacked appealing options, and the coffee wasn’t great. I ordered the seafood plate, but the eggs were boiled, and I wasn't particularly impressed with the dish. In contrast, we had visited previously for dinner and were much more satisfied; the drinks were fantastic then. Overall, the staff is always friendly, and the service is good.

We had lunch with jolie on Sunday and it was not disappointed. our three table had the tuna poke appetizer, the garnel, the grilled and the geese, and the cocosnus cream cake. our drinks were the Jolie of the White Queen. the only complaint I would have, the coconut cream cake would not be very good. our waitress told us it was the last piece. it was very dense and stale. other than eating was absolutely delicious. our second round of drinks lasted one because to reach us for the restaurant that is not overcrowded. but overall we enjoyed our brunch and will definitely return.

This was my first visit as it had been recommended by a friend. Service was excellent. My party went on a Sunday so we got a brunch menu there was a nice selection, but I would have preferred a more varied menu and less of a breakfast type selection. We did have the beignets with chocolate sauce they were not quite as light as I am accustomed to (Cafe de Monde) and one order of 5 was very filing . The mimosas and **** marys were great. That being said, my food was delicious and I am definitely looking foward to a return visit.
