Osaka Lafayette

No one greeted us when we walked into the restaurant. There were several staff members standing behind the grill looking at us waiting. However, no one came to the hostess stand to greet us nor seat us. The restaurant was not busy on a Friday night. We waited over ten minutes to seated with multiple empty tables.

Osaka never disappoints. The new look is very nice. Waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. In my opinion they are the best sushi restaurant in town.

If you come here, try the Korean menu. My fave? Bimbimbap. But the bulgogi and ribs are also in the favorite lineup here. You can’t get it anywhere else in Lafayette that i know of!

I had an order of Pho when I went. It was a lot better than some of the Pho houses here in town. It wasn't heavily greasy. It was just right. The ingredients was very fresh and so was the garnish. The only thing that I didn't enjoy at all was the waitresses attitude. When we began to order I asked the waitress if the Pho was any good, and she immediately answered, “Yes!
