Sky's The Limit Cakes - Lafayette

I contacted Skylar from California to surprise my husband with a cake. She made the whole process so easy. From the shaped cake theme to delivery in a local hotel I was very impressed. The cake itself was so real looking my husband called to say thank you for the Tito 's, but why is it in the refrigerator? When he realized it was cake, he was blown away! I recommend her 1000x and I wish she lived in California because I have her cakes for every event.

Wedding 1/21/23 While we were looking for companies to make our wedding cake, we all wanted to recharge a second mortgage. When I contacted Sky, she started talking to us as she already knew us. She listened and even helped us in our decisions. She told us what she could do with the variety of designs and made sure that it was what we wanted and nothing less! We got nothing but compliments as the cake tasted! Absolutely amazing to work! Thanks Sky!

Sky was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and patient with us! We were not sure what we wanted for our wedding cake, so she came with nice suggestions! Ordered a small, simple cake and it was perfect! I was worried she was busy with a wedding cake, but I kindly ordered me well in advance and she could insert me. Sky is so customer-oriented and detailed. That's a great experience. And the cake is also really good!

Although I've seen many positive reviews, I find it strange that getting a cake from Sky's The Limit has been so difficult. I called twice: the first time, without any advance notice, and they were fully booked. I understand that was my fault. The second time, I planned ahead and gave them an eight-day notice, but they were booked again. While I can appreciate that it might be wedding season, it seems like there should be some availability for regular cakes as well. I was recommended this bakery by a friend who had wonderful things to say about it, but it looks like I may never have a chance to try it for myself.
