The Hideout Kitchen Cafe Lafayette

We LOVED everything about our experience at The Hideout Kitchen! The table outside on a warm autumn evening was perfect. Our server was on point, and the food was absolutely amazing! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying veggies and rice were beyond delicious! We will be back soon!!

I had the fish stew. The broth was fantastic. My date had the hamburger and after the first bite said, this is good food . The wine selection needs some help.

The patio is lovely, and I love that Hideout now takes reservations for lunch! The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent! Great way to spend my birthday with my friend!

My only complaint with the meal was that the salmon dish was over salted, otherwise everything was excellent

Great find! New to the area and tried The Hideout Kitchen for the first time. Wonderful service, great drinks, and the food was delicious. The hummus and octopus appetizers were excellent. And, the churro and s’mores desserts were amazing! I was particularly impressed with the kids’ menu it’s how it should be: proper food in a smaller portion. We ordered the salmon and fruit cup for our girls. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the fruit was a thoughtful display of prettily cut seasonal fruits in a little bowl. We’ll definitely be back!
