Feedback gevenIf I could give this place a 10 stars I would've. It has been my go to spot for the past 2 years and I'd say I've been more frequent this year. The customer service from the first day I visited till now has always been the same, timely. The meals are always yummy, be it special Fried rice, Asun pasta, Jollof pasta, white rice and buka stew, spicy turkey or chicken, grilled fish etc. The atmosphere is so calm and soothing. I'd recommend this place for that quick lunch or a cool evening sit out. With a budget of 10k, you could get a full sizable meal and some bottle of drinks.
I had a great experience here. Located in area 2 in garki, the place was inviting. They have a large array of local and foreign dishes and drinks on thier menu. Best part of it Is that it is super affordable for everyone. There are other businesses around this area so you can be sure that your appetite will be satisfied. It has both indoor and sit-out areas were you could do shisha and so on. The service was good and the surrounding areas were comfortable. Highly recommended.
Nice environment, serene the food is quite affordable, you can get something suited for your budget
REVIEW OF LAST GATE, AREA 2 Last Gate is a Restaurant and Bush Bar that offers premium and tasty Nigerian food like their special jollof rice, fried rice, gizdodo, nkwobi and isi ewu. It is located at Area 2 and is available on Google Maps. This place is the true definition of tasty and affordable food. So what do we think: ENVIRONMENT 6/10 In typical Bush bar fashion, this place is an outdoor spot with lush greenery all round. It also comes alive in the night time with all the lights and music. This place is great for groups and casual dates. This place needs some signs or posters that can easily direct you to the garden from the parking lot. SERVICE 7/10 The service was just alright, the waitress took our orders carefully and gave clarification for items on the menu. She also kept jugs of zobo flowing which we liked. The menu here expressly tells you how long your food would take. Most of the food we ordered took about 15 60 minutes. The food that took the longest time to arrive was the Spaghetti Stir fry. FOOD 8/10 We opted for Fries with Chicken and Gizzard, Two plates of Special Jollof Rice with extra beef, Special Fried rice with extra Beef, two plates of Gizdodo, Goat meat pepper soup and Spaghetti stir fry. The fries were just perfect, nicely salted and crispy. The chicken, gizzard and extra beef were nicely seasoned and had a bit of heat. The special jollof rice and fried rice were actually unreal with plenty orishirishi such as fried eggs, chunks of beef and veggies but between the two, the fried rice packed much more flavour. The jollof rice was a tad bit salty and needed some heat. The goat meat pepper soup was really good, the meat was absolutely tender and had absorbed the warm flavours of the soup. The spaghetti stir fry was rich and delicious. Everything we had at Last Gate was absolutely delicious, the only item which didn 't live up to other food we had, was the Gizdodo. There was barely any gizzard in it and it had alot of oil. Also we would 've loved to see Asun on the menu. PRICING 8/10 The pricing here is actually unreal and extremely affordable. You get a lot of tasty food and a really decent price. For example, the special rice cost 1000 naira, the spaghetti and gizdodo were 800 naira and two pieces of beef was 200 naira. Everything pictured in all the photos cost 10,200 naira only and that 's for about 8 dishes and 6 jugs of zobo.
I loved, loved the food at this place. The Zobo is really nice and goodness me, that Fish tasted delicious. Location is a bit tricky but when you enter you'd be pleasantly surprised at what you see. The atmosphere was calm. I'd definitely be coming back.
