Rolha Wine - Lagoa

A little gem. The knowledge of the local food products used and the wine to go with the food was second to none. We had a wonderful night.

Great Tapas as usual and interesting wine suggestions by the waiter. Always a pleasure to eat here.

I wanted a traditional rustic food experience in a quaint setting and this place certainly delivered. The hosts was warm, friendly and happy to engage in conversation. He checked in on us without being overbearing. I was driving, so I could only drink one glass of wine that he helped myself and my partner choose. It was a very good choice. We had an array of tapas including the cheese charcuterie, Portugese prepared beetroot, piri Piri chicken, fishcakes and beef rib stew. They were all excellent, especially the beef rib stew which was so tender. The portion sizes, unlike in Spain, were generous. I highly recommend this place and it deserves all of the success it hopefully gets.

Foi uma experiência. Mas sinceramente não sai convencido...As porções das doses ficam um pouco aquém do esperado. Bifinhos com Risoto de cogumelos. Bifes bem temperados e Risoto parecido com arroz cozido... Serviço bom mas bastante insistentes a servir o resto da dose não deixando margem para uma refeição relaxada. Lamento mas sou contrário a maioria das avaliações... :
