The Place Victoria Island - Lagos

I appreciate The Place Restaurant for the consistent quality of their food across all locations. The taste remains excellent no matter which branch you visit.

This restaurant is a great place to dine, with an impressive selection of rice dishes that will definitely leave you wanting to ask questions at the counter. I always enjoy their Asun, which is consistently delicious and something I order every time I visit.

This restaurant offers some of the best food in Lagos. I'm writing this after visiting on November 29, 2022, five years after my first experience. I often drive quite a distance just to enjoy their rice, and they have over nine delicious varieties. They really know how to keep their standards high. The only downside is their poor online and customer service. I've experienced long wait times—sometimes up to two hours for my food—and when I try to reach their customer service through phone or Instagram, they often ignore my inquiries. For the best experience, I recommend visiting their eatery in person, particularly the locations at VI, Lekki 1 Gate, or the newly opened one in Ikota. Just a note: their Lekki outlet inside the mall is not up to par.

As you know, I absolutely love food! Whenever I'm unsure of where to eat, I always choose The Place Restaurant. On my recent visit, I enjoyed yamarita with egg sauce, asun, and fish. Wow, these guys never disappoint! I also tried their peppered turkey, and it was delicious. The prices are quite reasonable, and the seating is well-arranged with plenty of space. Every visit to The Place Restaurant becomes a memorable experience. I highly recommend stopping by – you definitely won't regret it!
