Breeze - Lagos

Dropped in for lunch and didn't expect much judging by look of Menu outside and look of the place itself. How wrong can one be. I had a really good Fresh Scampi and my partner had an ample Tuna Salad. Two Bottles Water and all for under €15.00. Not Gourmet food but good for lunch. Malcolmg48. Ireland.

This is a well run place that provides great breakfast snacks and fabulous Friday fish and chips for dinner. They also serve creative cocktails which are great value.

Not just your typical beach bar! Food is lovely and fresh, they do a lovely jacket potato with choices of fillings, burgers, salads, toasties! The owners are so lovely, scouser couple who have owned the place for years and even remembered our names next time we came in! Food came out quickly too. Not drowned in grease like some of your typical beach bar meals can be! And lovely views :

Stopped off to have lunch here this afternoon. Had the fish and chips. Amazing. Best I’ve ever had. At a time when my own country seems to have long forgotten how to cook one of our national dishes, this place is keeping the tradition alive. Light beer batter, with boneless succulent cod together with perfect chips. Friendly people who are proud of what they do. Go there. You will not regret it.

Nice staff and that’s why not a 1. star. Piri Piri chicken was cold in parts with greasy skin, so microwave used with spicy mayo added. Sweet potato fries were with the special. Just normal chips served. Espresso was the reverse boiling hot and bitter. Worst meal of my trip. Left most to have a proper one for dinner
