Hello Goodbye - Lagos

This is the first time we hired a car and we decided to use it to go and see the views from this point. The views were fab and well worth a visit, however try and go around when you would eat lunch so you can eat here. We had toasties, chips and cold drinks followed by some lovely ice cream. Not fancy in the slightest, but it was absolutely perfect and just what was needed. The cafe opens until 4pm, so keep this in mind. The ladies that served us were absolutely lovely too. Booked for the weekend nasi goreng for 4 after a walk around a bit of the huge reservoir. Lovely welcome and very nice reserved table. Service was in good time and the nasi goreng was excellent and an unusual dish for Portugal. We all enjoyed it. Roll on next year.

Have been here before many times. Lovely food and drinks. Location is beautiful. Thank you for helping us in July. Our car broke down on the other side of the dam. The owner helped us on her day off!! Love from Ireland!

We have tried to visit this restaurant on two previous occasions, but found that on Mondays they are closd, and then on the second visit that they're closed on Tuesday too. It was, however, worth the wait. The location is amazing perfect for walking two lively dogs and taking in stunning views. Hello Goodbye is the icing on the cake. The hosts were so helpful, setting up a new table for us in the shade. We only expected toastie type of fare, so were stunned to find the full blown meals and great range of lunches available. The quality and quantity of the food was superb, and despite not having any competition for quite a few miles, the prices were very reasonable. We are already planning, and looking forward to, our next visit.
