Sao Goncalo - Lagos

Just enjoyed a beautiful seafood lunch. Both mine and my friend’s dishes were delicious. We also loved sitting outside. Our every need was taken care of

We were able to book a table via Facebook which was really easy. The restaurant is run by Paulo who is always very friendly. We both had the lobster cocktail to start with which was delicious. Hubbie had monkfish rice with seafood and I had spaghetti bolognaise. The bolognaise was delicious, the photos don’t do it justice, it was moist and very tasty. It’s great to see that this restaurant survived covid and is well worth a visit.

My daughter and I really wanted paella on our last night in Lagos . We came across this restaurant which was far from busy but decided on it .The paella had mussels which were sooo tiny , prawns which were rubbery , unable to peel and definitely frozen . Calamari was ok . But the thing which amazed us was we could not pay by card ! This was not advertised nor mentioned and just by chance we scraped together enough cash and left , warning others on our way out. Very disappointing

Everything was really nicely done. It was authentic but a little bit original. Everything was fresh and exciting to eat

My family and I have visited this restaurant since the year they opened. We always receive a warm welcome and enjoy a delicious meal. My husband and I were so glad to be back last Friday. We were very pleased that despite a horrid two years of Covid and health issues, Paulo was back doing what he does best serving excellent food in a lovely atmosphere. We will visit again this week. Such good value for money.
