Laguna Beach Deck

I'm going to go contra to every review here basically for one reason...free concert...a free G. Love concert!!!! I mean this is something that would have cost me $40 plus fees from way further out at the Mann Center earlier in the summer of 2022. Since we were 5 people where seating was ample that night I was totally okay with paying for overpriced shore drinks and potentially mediocre food. Okay, so we weren't seated promptly and we didn't encounter a server until 20 minutes in because they were so swamped, BUT we weren't in a rush. We were planning on hanging out for 2+ hours so we had all the time in the world. I grabbed a bottle of wine from the bar and a few glasses and we eventually encountered a waitress. The frozen drink on the menu was awesome. I forget what it was called but there were two different one that were great. They were out of the first beer or two I asked for but no matter just choose the next available. When it came to food, the lobster sandwich was awesome. Fries were fresh, hot and crisp and the perfect compliment. When we got our appetizer we though it was mistakenly chicken fingers but the dish was the fried pickles that were long spears and not chips. They were good and the flavor of the pickle actually overpowered the fried element. Pizza was on point. Dough was good and seemed to have a bit of a sour dough element which at many other non pizza places come across as bland flower. NOTE to Restaurant: Continue to have live music for free!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been here a few times in the past and was never really SUPER impressed with what they offered, but nothing wrong was done to me... Until this past weekend. 6 of us tried to walk into the establishment. 1 of the 6 (my boyfriend) is a disabled vet with a service dog. As we tried to walk in a rude man in an apron (smoking a cigarette by trash containers) yelled at us and said no dogs in the restaurant! My boyfriend turned around an said She 's a service dog. To which the man responded I don 't care, I 'm the owner there 's no dogs in there Do you have her certifications . My boyfriend informed the owner he doesn 't carry paperwork that there was no REAL paperwork that could be provided as ANYONE can purchase fake certs. online. The owner and my boyfriend went back and forth for about 2 minutes or so before he called over a security guard told him to take care of the situation . You would think we were trying to cause a ruckus they way he was treating and talking to us. Mind you, all of us are adults, 33+. The owner ran off. The security guard said He 's my boss. I 'm sorry, I would have let you in. Finally, after taking in the whole situation in my boyfriend went through his wallet and found his service dog card, which clearly states all the do 's and don 't of the business owners. One of the DONT 'S is they are not allowed to ask for any documentation. My boyfriend went in trying to find the owner to show him the card but apparently He left . Really? He left? It hadn 't been more than 5 minutes. Owner is completely disrespectful and very unprofessional. He should make himself more knowledgeable of service animals.

Laguna is a great spot to hang at after a beautiful beach day! Lots of room outside underneath the shady sails... or hang at their indoor/outdoor bar overlooking the beach! Grab a few rum runners and try their bang bang shrimp! Delish!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I came here 2 times already and it's one of many reason we come to the Brigantine beach. Band is always fun to watch and with some drinks that are always on point. Go to is the pizza so far. Easy bar food to go along with everything. Never too crowded and always a blast. A
