Very cute little cafe, close to the beach with a great breakfast. Just good solid diner-type fare with friendly service and a local vibe. We go here every time we’re in town, and it’s always great!

When you're in Laguna Beach and you're looking for the best breakfast in town you got to go to Penguins. Their food is really the delicious made the way you want it and you're full every time you leave. They serve lunch too but they're a local breakfast favorite every day of the week. Enjoy Penguins when you're in town!

That's how the breakfast should be! I had an omelet, and the ham, spinach and mushrooms were all fresh. My husband had Maisbeef Hasch. Yum. We had fruits fresh and beautiful. It is an old diner and felt comfortable and very welcoming. Family since 1942, the owner takes great pride in her restaurant, and she should be proud of it. You should eat here!!!
