Japengo - Lahaina

I strongly recommend having a dinner at Japengo. Here, the waiters make you feel at home with their humor. Not only this, but they bring out fabulous food for you to eat and impeccable views to compliment it. Every food here is exceptional. This restaurant gives you a large and good scope of what Asian food is like.

We sat outside under the stars. Service was a 10. The food was a 11. Everything we ordered was amazing. And we ordered a lot. Make a reservation, parking is free across the street. Killer sushi ?. For what we ordered and being on a island I think the prices were on point.

A very clean restaurant with predominantly outdoor seating (and also some inside) with incredible views of the Hyatt Resort and the sea. We came for the first dinner on our honeymoon with reservations booked in advance and got a table along the terrace that had a great view! We have the wrong soup to begin and it was by far the best soup we had? ve ever had! The sushi itself was simply incredibly delicious and a beautiful presentation. I strongly recommend dinner here to satisfy your sushi desire!!

Great splurge-worthy meal that is super comfortable and walkable when you stay in Kaanapali! We were told that we had to have the seafood pancakes, and they did not disappoint. The rest of our order were sushi rolls. Quality was great and each of the reels were MASSIVE. We ordered 4, and we couldn't even finish them (which says a lot because we usually eat 3 and were ravenous). Service was 10. Staff made jokes with us and made us feel at home while we are still respectful of our room.

Very high and classic. This place has something for everyone and the view is amazing. Come early and sit on the terrace for sunset. We started with sushi and sashimi, everything was super fresh and perfectly prepared. I have the red curry with seafood for dinner. Just delicious. My wife ordered the shrimps and she also loved her court. The hash was great as a supplement. We ordered the cream brûlée, that was not an ordinary cream brûlée. Try it yourself!!
