Star Noodle - Lahaina

So incredibly good; personal is super informed, and portions are generous; they love the ability to get half-portions to taste the menu. they turn around quickly for eating. would come back in a heartbeat.

This is a very popular restaurant and earlier when I dined at star noodle, they did not take any reservations and I waited for an hour on a table, so when I saw that they were on open table, I was thrilled because it meant that I did not have to wait in the line. Unfortunately, this was not the case that we had to wait for over 40 minutes for a table we had reserved. when we finally got our table, the hostess was apologetic and offered us free dessert, which was very delicious. I can understand waiting 10-15 minutes for a reservation, but all over 30 minutes is ridiculous. knowing that makes me think twice about going back

This is a must in west maui. without open table can wait 1h per night. we have made this reservation about 3 weeks in advance. that's really the jewel. where do you find this great selection of foods at $10-12 dollars on maui? just answer star noodles. we were on a kayak/snorkel trip and the guide said the local order take all the time from there. we went 7-8 times in star noodle and were never disappointed.

Food was good, not great. Some unusual flavors and combinations. Some smells from dishes that were served to other tables were off-putting.
