We had even called ahead, it was odd our table was ready for 12 considering there was maybe 6 people in the restaurant. The poor server seemed to be by herself...so we don't blame her, just the management. She did all she could, but you could tell the support was lacking. She was our hottest, server and bar tender. We wondered if she had to cook the food too. The service then was slow, again I don't blame our server...but it all was a struggle from there. They were out of pork, so anything with pork wasn't an option. Plus it was hot inside, she mentioned she didn't understand why they don't turn on the air more?! Well, maybe that's part of why no ones eating there?! I predict this place will be out of business soon, if they don't wake up! Sad, it's a nice location, well set up on the inside. They just need to revamp the menu, and increase the service levels, not to mention, turn up the Ac or at least add more fans.
Everything we got ordered was perfect. Great live music to go along with our meal. Amazing
Great setting for sunset views! Live music was really good and not intrusive to dinner talk.
Was expecting more. The staff was friendly , if you was wonderful the food was OK. I recommend sticking to the fish for an entrée. The brussels sprouts and edamame were delicious.
We went to Sugar Cane the night before NYE. They were massively understaffed. The overall dining experience was marred by long waits but most dishes that eventually came out were good. I have to commend our waitress. We had made reservations ahead of time, but weren't able to check in as soon as we entered as there was a long line of parties in front of us. Another person in my party went up to her and told her we had reservations and she checked and then got us seated. A family in front us began to complain, saying that's not fair. I showed them the reservation confirmation. The family began to argue with the waitress that they should be seated instead of us. Luckily, she honored our reservation.
