Ribs were a bit tough (actually very tough), chicken balls over cooked (and only 7 balls in the portion). For what we had it was expensive. What more can I say. If I was in Lahinch, dying for a chinese I'd go back.....otherwise I'd have fish chips, or a burger.
I live locally-ish and have never previously used the Pearl Garden, but we’re fancied a take away for a change. We ordered sweet sour chicken, chicken cashews, two egg fried rice and king prawn chow mein. The food was ready on time, piping hot. But an inconvenience was that they don’t take bank cards or Google/Apple pay. So I had to pop over to the ATM across the road. In a town like Lahinch post pandemic I’m truly surprised the card option isn’t available. It also makes me wonder how tax compliant a cash business truly is. The food was much better than I expected so we will be using them again. My journey home is about 20-25 minutes so I took a cool bag with a hot water bottle covered in tin foil to keep the food hot. First time I’ve done it and it worked perfectly. Hard to find a photo of the menu online, so that’s why the menu photo is attached
The worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten. Threw most of it in the bin. Avoid at all cost. Would have been better off if I ate some sand from the local beach.
The food was cold.Noodles in chow mein were completely tasteless . Chips were disgusting and rubbery. Would not recommend
Note this place is now only a take away. We had a great meal here. There were three of us and we all wanted slight changes to the advertised meals which the staff catered for. Service was excellent and the food prepared quickly. I am not always a big fan of Chinese take away but I would definitely eat here again.
