Great spot with views of the ocean and sunset. The food was amazing each time I went (thrice for me) some of the best beef I've ever had, fresh fish, and an amazing octopus dish! Owner/chef is really open and welcoming as was the staff. Not a big place, so I'd recommend scoring a reservation. Go, you will not be disappointed!

The tasting menu was magnificent and the view with fabulous records plays was sublime! A MUST culinary experience while on the island.

I know what you 're thinking. You 're thinking the location is to die for , its romantic it will be whole dishes at least, hand caught with a speargun, at least it should be whole food, freshly caught from the ocean. Stop. Please trust me and all the other reviewers. You will be told, for example that the menu will be Bacalhau and receive a Ladle buffer with potatos in a dark shed where you cannot see what are tiny shreds of fish and what are enormous uncut potatoes. You will eat three (I counted exactly 3) tint crackers with average cheese and jam and told how local and authentic it is. You will pay 30 40 euros per person or more for food that I used to make in my student apartment when drunk. You will leave sad, and feel ripped off after what was a beautiful sunset on one of the most beautiful islands on this earth. Avoid this restaurant because THEY HAVE NOT LEARNED from the previous reviews.

Not many places to choose from in Faja Grande, but we were tempted by the declaration of the chef that next day they'll have the octopus from the oven. So we booked a table. Ordered a bottle of wine (the price is hard to swallow... and we were waiting. And waiting. The bottle almost ran dry, but after 90 minutes (sic! the octopus was served. I admit it was delicious. But still, for 2 dishes and a bottle of wine we paid 56 euros. This is way too expensive.
