Piero's Pizza - Lake Ariel

Solid option for take-out Pizza in an area with limited options. The round pie is above average. You won't hate it.

This was our first time visiting Piero's but it certainly won't be our last. I know it sounds weird walking into a pizza place and ordering a burger and fries but that's what I was in the mood for and it did not disappoint. The french fries were nice and crispy as well as flavorful and my burger arrived on a fresh kaiser roll. My husband very much enjoyed their white pizza and jalapeno poppers. I was quite intrigued by the paintings which were done on many of their drop-ceiling tiles. So much so that I photographed many of them as I walked around enjoying them. At the end of our meal my husband and I engaged in a very pleasant conversation with Mr. Piero reminiscing about Italy and enjoying small talk. I also inquired about the paintings on the tiles and he said many were done by former employees as well as college and high school students! They were absolutely works of art. I cannot omit mentioning his young male employee who was friendly and courteous. We'll definitely return.

Piero makes great pizza and wings. I have also had a number of subs from their menu including meatball and chicken Parmesan. Both excellent choices. There is a small dining area to eat in but I typically get take out.

Nice small family run pizza shop. Nothing special but the pizza was really good and the service was fast. Would definitely go back the next time we are in town
