Feedback gevenIncredibly grateful for Chuck. At around 9:30pm tonight, my cousin and I walked over to Stater Bros from the Lake Arrowhead Resort. When leaving, it was incredibly foggy and there was a large man who had walked around the dark corner that she and I would have to pass. We began to feel unsafe, turned around and walked back into the store. Unsure of what to do next, we saw Chuck. I had walked up to him and asked if he would mind walking us to the corner and without hesitation, he grabbed his beanie and we were on our way. He made us feel safe and for this, we are incredibly grateful. Thank you, Chuck! We appreciate you.
I just left Stater Brothers on 40th and Waterman, and I usually avoid that store because I'm rarely greeted or thanked at the checkout. Today, the cashier, the trainer, and the bagger were all talking and laughing among themselves without acknowledging the customers. It was truly disappointing and a sign of poor customer service. To make matters worse, a woman in line tripped and fell, and they didn’t bother to check on her or offer assistance; my daughter had to help her instead. This experience was unacceptable, and I won’t be returning to that store again.

Most recently, I placed an order with the bakery for my daughter's birthday—cupcakes and a birthday cake. Unfortunately, the cake had the wrong colors, and the cupcake order got overlooked because the two orders were stapled together. However, the bakery staff promptly fixed both issues and were extremely sweet and accommodating throughout the process! They truly made my daughter's birthday special, and I appreciate how they always work to resolve any problems that arise. Everyone faces challenges, but it’s how we respond to them that matters. The bakery handled this situation with utmost sincerity, politeness, and efficiency, and they truly deserve recognition for their hard work! Thank you so much to everyone at Lake Arrowhead Stater Bros—you are all amazing!
I want to share my experience as a resident of Lake Arrowhead who has been snowed in for six days. Today, two of my neighbors and I decided to trek half a mile through four feet of snow, pulling sleds, to get to the store because we were running low on food. To our relief, the store was very well stocked, and the employees were incredibly kind and helpful. They even assisted us in securing our purchases to our sleds. I made sure to thank the truck drivers who bravely navigate the snowy conditions to deliver supplies here. The manager was also seen smiling and assisting other customers. I truly love this store and believe the staff deserves raises! However, the walk back home up Cottage Grove was definitely not as enjoyable! Kelli, Jess, and Shelly
