Banana Cabana - Lake Buena Vista

This is one of my favorite places to eat on Disney Property. The Jerk Chicken sandwich is delish— be sure to ask for extra sauce on the side to dip your fries in! Awesome staff who gave great local recommendations. I love to stop by here when I’m at Disney!Food: 5/5

There is a very long wait. You have to go to Sebastian Restaurant to check in. It's not clear when you walk up. There is a bar you can walk up to however it may have a max of 10 seats. I got the Cuban sandwich. It was ok with some string fries. However I did share the J wings with my wife. Now these were amazing 5 out of 5. Our drinks were watered down. I couldn't even tell my pina colada had any alcohol. I've had virgin ones with more flavor and kick. This place is good for getting a bit to eat. Cheaper than Sebastian's but the service is painfully slow. If you're in a hurry or have a lot of people go anywhere else. If you have time to kill and love j wings it maybe worth the wait.

There is nothing magical about banana cabana. They were short staffed and the manager instead of jumping into help just stood there doing nothing but talking in her phone. We ordered one drink and one pull apart roll which took about 45-50 minutes to get. In between waiting we were never checked up on, never asked if we could get anything else and never acknowledged. The large group received food before us AFTER ordering multiple items after us. When we asked the barternder we were told it has nothing to do when you order but what you order (we ordered 4 bread rolls) which doesn’t seem to be extravagant nor should it have taken longer than four people all ordering individual food. If I had not have asked the bartender about our rolls we would have stood there until the end of time. I don’t want to blame the waitress because again her manager stood there doing nothing to help and eat he Cher get crushed with drink and food orders. Would never recommend coming here for a snack/“quick bite”. Disney could do better in training their lead staff to help.
