Bahama Buck's Lake Charles

Wife and I wanted some dessert after going to eat dinner on a Saturday night about 7PM. Never been to Bahama Bucks since it's not near us and not on our path, but made the trip across town to try it. Simple and quiet place that was easy to get to. The couple girls working there were very polite and patient as we looked over deciding what we wanted. We finally settled our decisions and got the strawberry shortcake and the kokomocha (not 100% sure on name). Both were pretty good and made within a couple minutes of our order. We we were able to sit down with no one else inside (most people hit drive-thru or ordered to-go). After sitting there for a few minutes sipping our drinks, a girl came over with a strawberry drink and gave it to us since they knew it was our first time there. Very polite and courteous people. Will definitely see about going back when possible as there were a lot of menu items that we wanted to try. And by the taste of the 2 we did, I'm sure the rest will be good too.

Very delicious! Oreo cookie smoothie was cool and refreshing. Chunks of cookie throughout!

Drinks were good, and the service was ok, but the person making the snow cones was NOT being sanitary while making them. They were packing the snow onto the cup with their hands. Yes, they had gloves on. However, grabbing your shirt and touching your face is NOT ok unless you wash your hands and change the gloves. Thank goodness we had a smoothie!!! I'll just go somewhere else from now on.

Bahama buck's is overwhelming in the best way. Menu is loaded with so many options- it's one of the few places where buying a small sized sno is actually satisfying. Very clean interior and helpful staff. Also awesome that they have a drive thru. Plenty of on site parking available. I think the biggest surprise is that they don't have outdoor seating too, but maybe that's more of a rule from the plaza it's situated in.

I found I got to try this place out! I got the bomb pop snowcone and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be back. Took a little while at the drive-through but an overall good experience.
