The positives: the attentive waitstaff and the ice cream. Unfortunately, no one in our group enjoyed the lobster. The steak was decent but not outstanding, and the oysters were, without a doubt, the smallest I’ve ever encountered. Everything was nicely presented, but honestly, if you have the option to choose Dragos, which is located in the same building, I would recommend going there instead. There was nothing that compelled me to say, “I have to come back here.” However, the ice cream sundae and coffee flavored ice cream were excellent; I would return just for the ice cream!
Nice atmosphere. Good quality food. The service was as expected in a higher restaurant. My father, I didn't try the dry aged ribeye. We both have it and it was just not for us. I'm sure it was how dry aged ribeye should taste, but be warned, it's very different than a non-old steak.
This is one of the most stunning steakhouses in America, rivaling renowned establishments like Del Frisco's and Mastro's. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and have consistently been impressed by the quality of the food. The service is remarkably fast for a steakhouse, which is a pleasant surprise. I would confidently put this place up against Peter Luger and other iconic spots in NYC. The crab cake here is undeniably the best you'll find anywhere. Additionally, many of the staff have been with the restaurant for a long time—some since its opening—which speaks volumes about the management and the establishment's overall quality.
Great atmosphere, very quiet, waiting staff was very attentive, and the wine flows. The food was amazing. In any case come back
I was eager to try the aged ribeye, but my waiter cautioned me that the flavor of an aged steak is quite intense, especially if you're not a fan of aged blue cheese. I appreciated the heads-up, so I opted for the 20oz steak instead, and it did not disappoint; it was incredible. Don’t miss out on the black truffle mac and cheese—it’s out of this world. You really can’t go wrong with this place. It might be a bit pricey, but it’s absolutely worth every penny.
