Waffle House - Lake Charles

This is the cleanest and quietest Waffle House I've ever been to. I almost thought they were closed because we were the only car in the parking lot. We were greeted upon entry, the staff was in a great mood and very kind. I even got an extra waffle because they accidentally made two. I felt like I was in the twilight zone and was debating on whether the food was going to be any good, lol. If you know you know. I'm happy to report that the food was still as good if not, dare I say, better than usual. My waffle even had a li'l crisp to it. I now see the allure of small town living and will be making my transition to a country girl so that I may have this dining experience more often.

People are not perfect and mistakes happen. After reading some of the reviews of this restaurant, it seems like some are really stretching to find something negative to say. While the service may not always be perfect or 5-star, the food is still good. If you don't like how something is done, you can always make it at home and leave your own review. The food is consistently great and the employees are always friendly. I make sure to leave a good tip for anyone serving me, whether it's for a to-go order or dining in. Service may vary, but I understand that everyone and every place have their good and bad days. While I have had some questionable experiences at this location, it will not stop me from coming back. Some people may write off a place after one bad meal, but it's important to remember that you are not the main character.

I have yet to come across a better Waffle House in the Lake Charles area than this one. They had plenty of parking, short wait times, exceptional cleanliness, a large team of staff members, and served quick, hot meals.

This establishment displays a lack of empathy towards African Americans and Mexicans, showing signs of extreme racism.

My family loves waffle house we love eating breakfast in the evenings lol.
