Wasabi Japanese Sushi And Grill

I travel all the time and this place really surprised me as to how fresh friendly and quick the lunch too it was packed by locals! The atmosphere is a little dark but no problem park out back because the front is limited I will go back!

Best sushi in the Lake Charles area and definitely the best priced sushi as well!! Staff is always SO incredibly nice and the service is great. An easy place to order to go or to dine in, with a very large array of sushi to choose from. One of my favorites in LC.

They have the best servers, excellent knowledge of all menu items. Sushi bar chef are some what rude and you can hear them yell at the servers. And to go girl makes you feel like you are dumb, like we are supposed to know everything on the menu. She is also talking bad about the servers very loud, as a customer, it makes me sad to see such rude as a in people. My favorite server is Natalie, Alexa,Kate, and Thao! Natalie is the best!!! She should be manager, because she does it all!

I made an account just to review this place, but that is because, it 's hard to find good sushi in Lake Charles. Our best options, are aerated buffet sushi, sitting under a lamp and plastic wrap; and the 'wasabi ' is usually horse radish, dyed green. <br/ <br/ Wasabi first caught my eye, when me and my family sat down for the Hibachi lunch plate 6.99 for Chicken/w rice, lomein and vegetables . We ordered 3 Hibachi 's, an appetizer, a roll and a large bottle of Sake- and our bill came up to $31.69. It was so cheap and so good, we tipped $11.00. And only because, we felt as tho we were committing high robbery.  <br/ <br/ Now, every Thursday, this has become my new spot for lunch. Between me and a weekly lunch buddy, we order 2 sushi plates each, the house salad $1.25 each SO GOOD! , and choose a plate of sushi to try/share; and have never seen a combined bill higher than $40.00. Oh, and btw, the ginger dressing is available for $5 a pint. I would seriously consider adding a pint to your order, to take home. This salad dressing is so good, it has motivated me to wolf down copious amounts of salad, as replacements for meals.  If i could, i would replace my blood with it.

This is the place in Lake Charles for Sushi.  I have tried to order a different roll each time, and every single one has been excellent.  I recommend the Mardi Gras Roll, and personally, I always ask for soy paper rather than the standard seaweed paper.
